I signed up for KDC coaching because I wanted healthy choices/eating to be a seamless part of my life that I stuck to way more often than not. I wanted to see occasional treats as a normal part of healthy eating. For example, eating a moderate amount of potato chips at a tailgate or choosing to enjoy a small piece of birthday cake or dessert and immediately getting back to my 85% without using the treat as license to eat whatever I want for the next three weeks. I wanted to work on my head and the mental/emotional aspects of eating.


I gained all that and much more. I learned about myself. I learned and established habits for how to eat healthfully for the rest of my life - not just perfect days, but for ordinary days, busy days, stressful days, awful days, celebration days......every day.

My PN journey has been a year of tremendous growth in gaining a better understanding of myself.  I had a past of struggling with my weight, gaining and losing, gaining and losing.  Over the past year, I've learned to listen to my body. I have also learned quality information about nutrition, eating, and meal planning and preparation. I now know how to plan a satisfying meal, one that consists of lean protein, quality carbohydrates, healthy fats, and fruits/veggies. I have learned which foods my body needs to eat in order to feel satisfied longer.  

The words that have been spoken over and over in the PN program, “Change your insides, change your outside” are so true.  I truly believe changes will continue to happen, as I daily put into practice the habits and skills I have learned in the PN program.
